Al norte de Madagascar, se encuentra la isla de Nosy Be, que literalmente significa isla perfumada, alli se cultivan algunas de las más olorosas plantas como la vainilla, el ylang ylang, el cacao… y hasta allí fue Michele Perris a buscar el más especial de los patchoulis. Aunque al principio el clima no ayudaba a su plantación, probaron con protegerlo a la sombra de los árboles de ylang ylang y consiguiegon un pachouli totalmente diferente con algunos acordes más dulces y jugosos. En su afán de intensificar los maticez que hacían especial a este patchouli, Michele lo acompañó con notas cálidas como el cacao, el láudano, la vainilla o el sándalo para conseguir que luciera su mejor versión. Se nos quedan cortas las palabras para describir la admiración que nos produce Patchouli Nosy Be, el único perfume en el mercado que contiene este singular patchouli, es como si sintiéramos que por fin le han devuelto al patchouli el trono de madera que nunca debió perder.
